I was tasked with designing and animating a holiday spot for the launch of Orderly Meds, a new GLP-1 medication. The spot needed to inspire the design system, reflecting the visual identity with every color, image, and transition. For audiences, it offers a calm inspiration.
The balance of kinetic type with elegant, layered imagery draws attention to the core messages of the spot. Revamping their brand, I expanded the visual language through a blend of a photography and simple color, reflecting the mood of color, light, and life.
Challenges + Solutions
Orderly Meds was brand new at the time that this spot was being created, so their branding guidelines were changing as I was working. There were color shifts, font shifts, and image shifts, ultimately leading MAMMAL to take the reigns and reimagine the look of the brand as a whole. Below are the original brand work-in-progress frames provided by the client.
Initial Styleframes Based on Branding
Once Orderly Meds saw these frames I had created based on their typeface and colors, they felt like they needed to make some changes in their color palettes, font, and overall approach. They also hadn’t been able to shoot photography for the spot, so we were limited to stock images only.
Final Frames
After revamping the typography, dialing in the style of images, and revisiting the color palette, the final look is warm, festive, and classy.
Versioning
I also created 15 second cutdowns and social versions of the spot.
